As a Brotherhood member of the Wulinaxin OA Chapter he has served as Task Master at 2 Ordeals.

In 1994 he joined 3 other ASMs from Troop 1212 and went to Wood Badge at Camp Hual-cu-cuish, gaining his beads as an Owl.  Jeff Bostwick (Mary’s husband) was the Course Director.  Brian was called to be on WB Staff for the first course of Wood Badge for the 21st Century.  He has served on 4 WB staffs WE4-49-02, WE4-49-04, WE4-49-02-06 and WE4-49-08.

Professionally Brian graduated from SDSU and has been in the Information Technology field ever since.  He currently is the Technology Resource Manager for the San Diego Public Library system.

Twice he has served a 5 year term as the President of the Board of Trustees at his Church and as such has been in charge of several large building improvement projects.  He is married to Carol who has just completed 25 years as a Girl Scout volunteer. They have 3 grown children.
